BYD’s final manufacture has developed intelligent body positioning technology, enabling high-JPH (jobs per hour), high-flexibility manufacturing that supports the production of all vehicle models on a shared production line. Intelligent switching between different body assembly tools allows flexible, co-line production of both body-on-frame pickup trucks and conventional monocoque body vehicles.The error-proof tightening technology ensures model-specific and workstation-specific tightening error prevention, significantly enhancing tightening qualification rates. Integration of multiple visual systems with remote vehicle diagnostics enables unmanned, end-to-end inspection, covering the entire process from electronic control to load execution.The flexible and intelligent manufacturing system in the final assembly workshop has been successfully implemented across BYD’s domestic and overseas factories. It supports a full range of vehicle models-including pure electric, hybrid, CTB, monocoque body, and body-on-frame designs-delivering high-JPH, high-flexibility production with improved quality.
